Requirements for renting a snowmobile

Where & How We Ride

The Heber-Kamas Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest offer over 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and access to over 400,000 acres of mountain terrain. You will be able to ride to 9500 ft. altitude in some of the west’s best snowmobile terrain. You’ll see some spectacular views so bring your camera!

Daytrips holds all applicable permits for the National Forest Service, so you don’t need to get a permit for yourself.

Note: All tours are weather permitting. Prices subject to change.

Time

9AM-1PM. Plan to arrive 30 minutes ahead of the tour (8:30AM or 12:30PM) for necessary paperwork, training, and gear.

Snowmobile Rental Requirements

  • All drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Plan to arrive 30 minutes ahead of the tour to complete some paperwork, receive some training, and get your gear.

Transportation to Our Office

Transportation is available to-and-from Park City or Heber City/Midway for an additional charge

We provide the following gear

  • Boots

Dress as if you were skiing

  • Ski Jacket & Sunglasses
  • Ski Helmet (If you want to use your own)
